Kids parties at Hippo Park?
You can rent the playhouse (located adjacent to the woman's bathroom) during the summer hours. We've hosted two kids parties there and have been delighted. Feel free to post any questions.

Rates as of 2010 are as follows:

• 9:30 am - 12:00 noon / 2.5 hours $150
• 9:30 am - 3:00 pm / 5.5 hours $375
  
• 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm / 2.5 hours $225
• 12:30 pm - 6:30 pm / 5.5 hours $525
  
• 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm / 3 hours $300
  
• All Day / 9 hours $675

Hippo Playground's 27th annual spring fair helps will be held on April 25th, 2010

Hi.
I'm contemplating using the clubhouse at Hippo Playground for a party.
Can you tell me any specifics about it?
Will the park staff provide me with tables?
Am I allowed to play music?
What is the square footage of the place?
Any more info will be greatly appreciated.

Hi - They provide the space, tables, and chairs along with a refrigerator you can use - the rest is up to you, so give yourself time to set up and take things down. Unless there's another party before or after yours, they're pretty flexible about the time.

You can play music. Square footage - it's about 40x20 - that's guestimate.
